OK, not sure if this will work, but...
Couldn't he run a set of tubes from the vents on the case to the outside of the oven, and maybe even hook them up to a vacuum pump? That would allow the pressure build up to be vented, and the vacuum would even reduce the tendancy to want to leak fluid onto the coating; HOPEFULLY long enough to cure the powder. Degrease and maybe steam clean the case first, and then see if you can try it. Any reason why that shouldn't work?
