If you need answers that bad just call the company and get a help tech. You sound like a woman on her monthly so called exuse for a problem.
On the other hand if you are plating the crank, you need to remember that when you plate you have to keep in mind that you need to know how much to plate, unless you are machining the part to your specs. Because other wise you will have a uneven race for the bearings. It sounds like alot of work for just a few parts.
