The cabinet will never strip that off. I have tried will alum oxide and the wheel laughed I stipped one with aircraft stripper but that was way too much work. The rim that I stripped was already powdercoated black (by someone else) over the factory powdercoating and clear coat. It seemed to have very good adhesion and good finish.
