What is the feasibility of using plug and plate to Copychrome a reveal along the body of a car. My project has a 3/8" by about six feet beltline molded into the body on each side. My idea is to tape off this belt line and use plug and plate to copper, make solder repairs & buff, then copy chrome. This would happen before the final paint where I could clean up the edge with the paint , if needed. It would be pretty unique to have a chrome strip that is actually part of the car and not a trim piece.
Am I crazy or what ??
