I dunno man... I consider gaskets, any silicone. as for the oil.. i think there would be burn-off (contamination of powder), plus i'd have to think out-gassing would be impossable with a pan full of oil. the paint would have to go too.
Personally? i wouldn't do it unless it was a bare block. just my 2 cents
