Thanks Pickleboy. I realize the boxes are mainly for mounting the elements and I think I was unclear on what I want to know. Looking at this picture, even leaving the boxes off and mounting right into the top of the panel they are mounted to here, how would you insulate regular wire on the back side of the panel if the elements only have studs, because I'm sure heat would sink right through it.
