In proper observance of the forum rules I will leave out the names of the companies I have purchased from in the past. I will tell you that as I cruise around to different sites where powder is for sale I have found that all of the places I used to shop have gone to new and improved formulas. I have used Poly's in the past and was not excited with the results. They dull quickly but they are quite smooth and very reflective when they come out of the oven. The Extreme chrome is a bit darker than most of the polys, but it's exponentially tougher and will outlast the polys everytime. I don't use chrome as a base for candys so I can't tell you how well it works for that...sorry. In my opinion the extreme chrome is the best chrome on the market for our consumption. I have connections with several junkyards in my area and I go to them when I need practice or display parts. I cut a deal with one of the yard owners, I powder his parts for cost and, he lets me scavange for certain parts. All the parts I take are unusable but good enough for my purposes.
