Default HELP, Wiring my Oven.

So I started wiring my oven and I have the same set-up a lot of us here do from Stan, the guy from E-bay. I can't get the contactor to make contact and supply the other side with power. And well I'm a little confused here is the schematic he sent me, http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/Mail0002.jpg as you can see it says for 120V. I talked to Stan last night and he said that for 240V all you do is switch the nuetral wire for another hot wire. Now if I do that the thermostat won't turn on. Don't you have to have a nuetral wire to complete the circut? Also is there any way to test the contactor or the coil? It is very frustrating because I not the best with electrical stuff and I wired it exactly as the schematic shows but there is no where to put the nuetral wire. Thanks for any help, Trey.
