I am trying to figure out what you want here.
First of all, you wouldn't want to put anything on the rotor itself as it would interfere with the pad-rotor reaction. It should never really have time to rust because as soon as it is used, the pads would remove any rust. If you wanted to keep the rotors on your show bike from rusting, a good polishing on a buffing wheel and then a light coat of oil would work best.
As for calipers, we are getting ready to perform an experiment on drums and calipers. We have several pieces off of our own vehicles (trucks and bikes) that we are going to do in a couple of different whites to see what discolors and what works the best with the heat. I am told by several pro PC companies that epoxy works real well.....we'll soon see.
