2- What destroyer said. I add water to my ano tank to replace evaporation. The reason you don't add water to acid is because it generates a lot of heat very quickly; once it's diluted to the LCD ratio it's unlikely to cause any problems. Wear protective clothing including gloves and eye protection, and go slow.
