If your die grinder is has a front air discharge, the oil is probably coming from there on to your buffs! The die grinder requires oil to run efficiently, so don't now how you will get around that. Don't know whether you can wash the buffs or not, maybe something Caswells can answer.

I have used a 2500 RPM drill motor to polish aluminum when the pieces were of a size that I couldn't get on my floor mounted buffer. Never had a problem bring them to a high luster!
