Default Re: Titanium grade question

I don't know about the titanium grade, but I'm not having any problems using nylon hardware in the 1:3 ratio. A couple of my screw/nut pairs have probably been through the process over a dozen times by now (from deox through seal) and haven't melted yet. I haven't tried them in the stripper. On one occasion I used a nylon screw in acid left at battery acid strength and the screw did turn into a little lump.

I used nylon tie wraps to lash my last agitation pump to a piece of PVC pipe. The tie wraps outlasted the pump's impeller, somewhere around 30-40 hours' runtime. I'd be hesitant to use nylon on something that stays in the tank 24/7, but IMHO it does ok for ano runs at 1:3 bat acid concentration.
