The chrome plating chemicals contain an EPA approved mist suppressant. The fume balls prevent misting also.

Imagine pouring a can of pop into a glass, then putting your hand over the glass. You will feel all the small bubbles of gas escaping from the pop. The mist balls cut down on this effect.

An open window and a small fan should be sufficient to remove any bad odors.
