We'll need a LOT more information to help you with this....firstly, you made the dye by adding a few drops of dye to distilled water How much distilled water, and how many drops, of what size? Without specifics, it will be next to impossible to help you.

Did you read the instructions? These chemicals, dyes included, have specific makeup requirements. If you don't follow them, you're guaranteed to fail.

Have you read the anodizing procedures, and many posts here?
