Hi all. I'm polishing a SS firewall using the Caswell SS polishing kit. All is going well except that I can't seem to get rid of what looks like streaks. I think it is slightly un-eaven polished vertical lines. I'm using an Hitachi 3400 rpm 6" buffer . I'm at the stage of using the green SS compound with just the color cut. I'm polishing only vertically on the firewall. Should I be using some other pattern such as alternating 90 deg? I've been polishing it for quite a while, too
Any ideas?
