I have not used this product but according to what I have read the typ of nickle is not an issue just the typ of metal you are stripping from the book says it will strip at a rate of 2 mils per hour and will strip 2.5 to 6 ounces of nickle per gallon so then I would have to say you have either used the solution up or you are not leaving the parts in the solution long enough
