I had the same problem, so I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a cheap digital timer with alarm. It's stuck right on my oven door and It really comes in handy, when I'm multi tasking. I set it for the aproximate first temp reading then reset it for the cure. It works every time. It cost me about $6 and has really come in handy. I've worked in shops my entire adult life and I've always noticed that every shop that has a solid work flow setup is successful. This is especially true if you're a one man show.
