I kept both elements low since heat rises. I have since added the fan through the top providing a upward draw and circulates down the sides. Like a ceiling fan
in winter. As for the wiring I just kept pretty much every thing that was there in the original stove. Adding the second broil element to the same circuit as the standard element by piggy backing it off the same wires. The wiring for the stove top elements was not needed so I opened the control compartment and removed the wires from there. This helped to clean things up a bit. The added fan was wired off the light switch so when you turn the light on they both run. It has been working great so far. And sure produces a nice product.

P.S. Yes you can run it just as wired if you wish. By me adding the broil element to the same circuit as the bake element didn't really change anything since the self cleaning model has the thermostat rated for both elements on at once. As during a normal cleaning cycle. Feel free to ask any question I can help you out with.
