I have a 1hp motor 3450 rpm's and I'm using 10" wheels. My current sewn wheel is I believe 40 ply not sure thickness. But I want to go wider to cever more area. Now I've seen one place selling a 120 ply sewn wheel or should I go with two 80 ply wheels? Is there any down side to stacking wheels or any major plus for stacking rather than just one thicker wheel? And lastly is there any special way for stacking buffs or just like you put on one wheel, just put 2(or more) together and put on the end nut.
