Re: Copy Cad with heaters, Temp. up past??
I don't have a Cad set up, but did want to back up the last post by adamthomas.
I also use the foil backed insulating bubble wrap on my plating tanks and it has made all of the difference in the world. The initial heat-up time is still fairly slow, but the temperature remains more stable inside of the tanks and the heaters do not have to work near as hard to maintain. Most of the time, I just turn them off.
A quick way to heat up the SP Degreaser is to use a Stainless Steel Stew Pot on the stove-top. This is by far quicker than the ceramic heaters. I take about half of the quantity in my tank, bring it to just below a boil, return the hot liquid to the cold liquid tank and then put the heater in to maintain. That tank is also wrapped with foil bubble-wrap.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Best of luck guys and have a very Merry Christmas!
