I have a question for you. I purchased Caswell's "Tinted Brass" and "Candy Gold " in hope of finding a color that was close to Cadmium plating found on disk brake caliper brackets. I have been using electrical outlet covers for color samples to show people. I ran two samples of each of these colors and they came out transparent. They have color but you can see the bare metal right through the powder coat. The pieces were well coated and the surfaces are very glossy. I only did one coat, and will try a second coat. any suggestions?
