Yes, there is a little difference in the way the guns spray, but that is not the point. Color changes and cleaning are the reason. Have you ever tried to do 4 colors on one batch? Spend most of the time cleaning and blowing the gun out. It becomes a real PITA if you are wanting to spray clear, or lolly colors over chrome, after only a 10 min bake cycle on the chrome. Not enough time to completely clean gun, refilll and watch the oven at the same time. It can be done, I know, just a PAIN. 98% of my work is candy's, or metalics with a clearcoat. I will do 8-10 color changed in 1 day of spraying. That takes alot of time when you add it up.
