i have chance of an oldish polishing machine but not sure if it will be powerful enough or fast enough, the spec is 3 PHASE, 3/4HP, 1425RPM. its a big floor standing viceroy machine, im currently using a converted bench grinder that is 2/3 hp and 2950rpm but it just slows down when i apply pressure, is this big machine going to be any better for polishing aluminium or should i hold out for a faster more powerful machine ? thanks in advance
