Sorry, you didn't mention you were going to run an inverter. As far as the slower motor, I don't know. It's a matter of preference more than anything. I wish I would have went with the 1800 RPM model instead of the 3600. I'm pretty sure the 3ph motor will have more torque than a single. But then again, it might depend on the type inverter you are using. I say go for it if the price is right. Good luck.
