oven questions
I am just starting to build an oven from an metal cabinet 4ft. high 3ft.wide 2ft. deep. I insulated the outside with r13 and covered it with sheet metal ordered the bake elements but have no way to control them,I believe I need some type of thermostat ? From what I read on the forum I need a contactor.I am totaly in the dark . My oven will probably have at least 4 elements. When you say thermocupler that is the sensor inside the oven to the thermostat then the therm. is wired to the contactor that connects and disconnects the 220 power basicly it is like a relay. I read that a Watlow series 93 contactor is what will work ,but I still need tofind where to get one also a thermostat that will work with it. I read the mail most every day trying to learn. I have only coated one time ,small parts in a stove ovenwired direct. the therm. did not work, and they still came out good. I hope you can set me straight. Thanks.
