The frame was sand blasted.Then i used brake cleaner, blow off the brake cleaner with commpresed air and put it it the oven for about 10 min to burn off any cleaner.I did fully bake my base coat pulled it out of the oven and waited about 2 min then shoot the blue.I baked the blue for 20min.Iam using siver base from coulmbia coatings (if that matters).Iam blasting the frame down and redoing it I just don't want to do it a 3rd time.Do you think a clear coat would help with chipping .I was told on a cany orange that you need to put clear on just the orange.??
