Wow 538C! that's 1000 degrees F, you could actually have that inside the oven.

Just as reference for others, normal household ovens often use 150deg C/302deg F silicone jacketed wire (ref Mcmaster pn 7479K22).

I proposed the PTFE coated 200degC/392 degF wire (ref Mcmaster pn 7304K14) pn because it cost less per foot yet was rated higher than household oven wire.

This forum is great. I especially like the way no one flames each other on posts.
