Your calculations are off a couple of places

Surface Area 55.75 In²
0.39 Ft²
Thickness 0.70 (0.1-1)
Current Density 12.00 Amp/Ft²
Set Current 4.65 Amp
Time 42.00 Minutes
Peak Voltage 30.00 VDC

A 84 min run time is for a 6 ASF CD with an amperage setting of 2.32A on the power supply. Basically you doubled the CD and ran it twice as long as needed.
