Default Re: a few questions

as far as power supplys goes i cant really find a straight answer and what i wanted to know is how much SA can i ano with each of the power supplies .
It depends on what CD you run. Standard LCD anodizing uses 3 to 6 ASF. The 4.5 ASF is recommended because it gives more leeway to inaccurate SA calculations.

Using a 4.5A CD
3 AMP=? 96 square inches
5 AMP=? 160 square inches
10AMP=? 320 square inches

To calculate: 4.5a \ 144" (1 square foot) = .03125A per square inch
3A \ .03125A per square inch = 96 square inches of surface area (SA)

also, does the 720 rule apply to LCD anodizing?\

Definitley

I read in the manual that its 4.5 AMPS per sq foot of surface area? is this correct?[/quote]

Yes that is correct. There are many things you can change to effect the growth of the coating. But they only cause problems if you play with the parameters before having a complete grasp of what is going on and why. If you need help with calculations or anything, feel free to ask.
