There are actually a few of those out on the market already...They are not exactly popular though. There are several drawbacks that stop people from using them. The main problem as I see it would be cleanup. As you spray to waste your powder it will fall to the floor in thin layers and become quite dusty. As soon as you try to cure the fallen powder will kick up and get into your coated parts. To avoid this you would need to put something down on the floor and walls of the oven to collect the over spray. Then you would need to clean out the oven before curing. that's alot of wasted time for one coating job in my opinion. The easiest way to do what you're thinking about would be to make the spray booth part as a down draft type, with the filters on the floor in a cartridge type setup that can be removed for curing. You would still have the issue of what to do with the over spray on the walls, but the removable downdraft setup would reduce the clean up time.
