Default Re: Dumb question of the day: Read here

Hello cub,
its very daunting at first, all the answers are all there in the posts and no matter how much you read and read you are still at a point where you have to ask the question, remember there is no such a thing as a dumb question....i have asked some well obvious questions to the initiated and thankfully mike and the gang have helped me big time.
i had a drill kit but i opted straight away for a buffing machine, my machine wasnt expensive and is still going strong even though i am watching for the tell tale signs with the bearings etc. it is a big learning curve and takes time,i crawled befor i walked and thank god it has saved me hours on reading asking and then testing each step un til i was happy.have fun testing the compounds and the different wheels.
keep at it and it will put a smile on your face when you produce your first 'masterpiece'
take care
Grommit
