As posted the other day, I powder coated an intake manifold, and the results were acceptable. My question: when I was checking the temp of the intake, for flow out, I was getting several readings from it. If I checked it toward the center, it read high. If I checked it toward the front or back, it read lower. One area read higher then 392 deg (403) and others read around 350-380. How am I supposed to know when flow out has happened? A bit confusing. Should I have waited on the lower temps to reach 392 or go with the higher reading?
