Any trick to spraying flat powder?
This was the first time I've had to spray flat powder. I had just sprayed some gloss red and gloss black and they came out great. I had just bought some flat black and tried it on two lower legs off of a Harley. One of them had big clumps on it, not bubbles but clumps, that I must not have seen before curing it. The other one came out looking like dark grey, even though it had a really thick coat of powder on it.
I thought it might be a problem with the gun, so I cleaned it and tried again on a valley pan. It came out pretty good, but still had a greyish color to it, not a flat black like it should have been.
Did I just use crappy powder or is there some different way to do flats?
