Wow!
The whole point of this post is to help the DYI'r get his blaster setup so he can regulate the sand and air better. And it DOES work better. We are NOT all professionals here. I think it's safe to say, the majority of us are " Do it yourselfers" As for restoring cars for years, so have am I. All I'm trying to do here is point out a really nice alternative to those who have a bitch of a time trying to get those crummy a** sand blasters to work like they should. And this way fits nicely in the pocket book ($$$). I think over 1000 guys that have taken up using "the widget" says plenty.
Sorry you don't agree with making it simpler for the DYI'r. Most of us are small time and don't understand the usage of the blasting. As for media, silica sucks and is dangerous. It don't get used by me.
Do it the way you want and the others will take note and have a look at a system that works, BETTER then the alternative. And it's a 45 deg angle...
