I didn't see where it says NO thermocouple. I seen where it says you get "Free K type thermocouple sensor/wire". Mine said the same thing and I got the thermocouple. It is on the very end. What you want to do is, place it in a pipe and stick it through the wall and put a cap on the end, so it will give you a teurer reading on your oven temp. I can take a picture of how mine is installed if you like. I was told by a guy that deals with this type of thing everyday where he works. He's around 63, so he's been doing it for awhile. I also used my Infrared Thermometer to test the end and it read exactly what the digital display said, 400.
The one in my oven is a little different then the one you get, as I got it from the guy (mentioned above), but I did get the thermocouple with the one off Ebay.
