I seem to have great results with half baking chrome, 10-15min, then shooting clear, and baking anopther 15. Cures the chrome and the clear. ANd the chrome stays more chrome looking. Doesn't oxidize as much.

if i get this right he is doing the lip and top of fins chrome .
that means the grooves between the fins will be black ,if he does the black first how would you suggest masking inside the grooves ?
i ll have to try that half baking the chrome ,i might get better results .
thanks
