I didn't use any clear, just the regular chrome powder. It turned out very shiny, and I'm pleased with the results. It is much better looking than silver paint. It looks deceptively like polished aluminum. I have a pound of clear powder, but I haven't tried it on anything yet. The gloss yellow turned out very shiny, and the chrome looked great too, so I haven't needed the clear for anything. Someday I will experiment with glitters, simulated metal flakes, and translucents, but for now I'm very happy with my results.
