Ken,
I couldn't get the voltage to trip the SSR. I'm fine using a contact block but I may take you up here in a week or two when I put together my next oven. If I didn't mention it I am not building these for in-house use. I want to market these and I've sold several finished units and just boxes but all my wired units have been one or two burners with generic home ove controllers.
My next one is chopper size so I'll need four burners and must use a contact block then.
Price is important because I'll have to double the cost of the electric supplies and will the retailer that I end up selling it two. A $32 block will end up costing the consumer $128.
