I am thinking about ditching my EastWhatever hobby gun for one of the Caswell guns, cuz I hear so much better stuff about them, but I don't know which one to get. I hear people say the 50kv gun does not go low enough voltage to get into the corners and stuff, so I don't know which one to choose.
Yes, turn down to 35Kv, it gets into corners nicely now. I just did a front rack for a 4 wheeler, It has that expanded metal on it. It was a little tough to get into all the area's, I ended up putting the diffuser on and smothering the rack in powder to get into the really tight area's, with the voltage off. But for most things, it gets the tight areas Much nicer.

If your leery of drilling holes, just try how your gun sprays without the diffuser on. Removeal of the diffuser is what helps the powder stick in corners.
