Default Re: What do you mount a standing floor buffer to?

This is the stand I made for the Sears Buffer. The Metal stand was from
Menard's and was 23$, I used 3/4" x 2'x4' Birch plywood (14$) for the base and counter sunk the bolts so the base is flat and stable. (Bolts & wing nuts I had laying around) This makes it flat to work with as you stand on the board, and easy to put away when not needed. (will fit under 1 of my work benches)

Stand is 31lbs, board is 20+ lbs & Buffer is 38 lbs. + with me on it at 190lbs, I don't think it will move much when in use

I don't think the holes on the stand will line up with the buffer, so I will prob need to make an adapter plate out of some scrap wood when the buffer shows up.
