I am seeking stories from people who started powder-coating as a hobby then transformed it into a business. It doesn't matter whether your business is home-based or whether you bought your own building.
Specifically I am looking for information concerning the logistics of starting a powder-coating business. What obstacles did you encounter (EPA, licensing, permits, etc), how did you overcome them (technically rather than philosophically). Was there anything in particular that you were required to obtain or do because of the nature of this business (i.e ventilation systems, inspections, etc).
Those are the few questions that I can think of off the top of my head but really any information you provide is more than I intially had
