We live in a very litigious society; businesses get sued often for manufacturing defects and other issues. Someone once sued an establishment because they tripped on landscaping gravel..go figure.
Has anyone here ever had a claim brought against them for work they've done on a automotive part or something similar? As far fetched as it seems I can just imagine this scenario:
-Consumer gets calipers powdered. Gets them home, installs them. A week later crashes, totals car. Consumer sues coater because powder somehow interfered with braking mechanism of the calipers.
Yes I know the scenario is ridiculous
but so is suing because the freshly brewed coffee burnt your lap and the cup didn't have a warning label that it was hot.
