thanx for your compliment,

these are some of titanium fingers used in my anodizing
process. I use an aluminum "drawbar" to pull the solid ball
upward, expanding the fingers and gripping the ID of the part.
the beauty of titanium is its ability to spring to great dimensions
w/o undo affect. for instance the nominal dimension on the
finger is 5/8, but i have been able to grip ID's of almost 1 1/8"
and the fingers still spring back to 5/8 when released.
the picture you see is a trilogy of the start to finish
using 3 fingers in different states of the machining process.
below is a photo of the fingers installed on my ano rail.
but i also like Rclint's titanium wire finger as well -- as we have
enjoyed success using titanium in our own forms.
