I then tried the flitz fiberglass cleaner and metal polish on the same side i just did. OMG I could actually hear this stuff scratching the metal as i rubbed it in. I quickly removed the black residue and to my suprise there were more micro scratches than I had with after coming strait off the buffing machine. I dont know if this is the same for all metals or just aluminum, or just my experience. I thought I would share this with everyone, hope this helps. Oh is this polish acutually hiding the scratches through the layers or are they actually gone at this point?

You must have good hearing...the Flitz is advertised as having NO abrasives, and in my experience has none. I've seen no difference between the Mother's and Flitz in removing (or producing) microscratches (they don't, mostly). I assume you're using microfiber cloths - whatever the polish is applied with can make a bigger difference than what brand the polish is.
Flitz paste leaves a little wax behind; the liquid doesn't. Not sure about Mother's.
