I really can't afford to have ten of the same wheel always prepped and ready with a given grit, so I have to keep re-applying the greasless. Even using a heat gun to dry it, it still doubles the time it takes. If it weren't for that time issue I would do most everything with the stuff. Only way around it I come up with is to use rolls etc. on the curved parts and then go over it with the greaseless to get rid of the marks.

If somebody could come up with an adhesive like the setup wheel stuff but that didn't get so darn hard, it would be much better.
hi ,no i don t really have a fix , i have lots of buffing wheels so i always have a few already dried i have 3 x 3hp buffers so that makes for 6 places to mount my wheels if needed, and for smaller wheels i have about dozen of mounted 3 inch x1 inch wheels with greaseless on them ready to mount on my die grinder but to be honest i do most of the rough job with sanders ,abrasive discs and cartrige rolls etc.
i don t have time to mess around with hairdryers and other stuff , but if i have to wait for buffs to dry i just work on some other parts while waiting.
you could also use that glue that tng21 mentioned earlier , it makes the greaseless last longer but it also makes a harder wheel and i think it has to be applied when the wheel is new , some people like it but i tried it a couple of times and i didn t really like it
