Default Re: 5/8 adaptors

Spent afew hrs at Depot and Lowe's and all-not much for spacers, no pvc pipe has the ID and OD needed to use the 7/8 arbor(common) wheels with the 3/4 adaptors on the 5/8 shaft. I have a piece of thinwall alum tubing that is close-will use it for now. Think I will draw up a set of bushings and send to my machinist friend in Ca.

Any new wheels I will get here, and get 5/8 arbor-lesson learned.
Still, a set of arbor adaptors which would allow you to run the large arbor wheels on different shaft sizes would be neat to see for sale here too.

Been too cold to get compound to flow and cut here( my woodstove will not get the temp up more than 10-15 deg-and it's been in low 30s at night)-tonight should be warm. I will try to post pics of the flanged Akront rims for a 67' Bultaco soon.

Thanks ,
James
