We use SP cleaner from Caswell, heated to about 160-170 degrees F. It works well for our parts that are machined with water soluable oil and then tumbled with with plastic media and Raytech compound C detergent, which leaves the parts pretty clean. For parts that we machine with a petroleum based oil, we run two cleaning tanks (with the same cleaner). We use older cleaner solution in a "pre-cleaner" tank to remove the bulk of the petroleum based oil so the main "final" cleaner tank stays good longer.
