Oven Build Cost
I posted this in it's own thread so not to highjack gators thread. Some people could have probably built a oven cheaper but this is what it costed me. I built a 48 x 48 x 78 high oven (inside measurements). All prices have tax and or shipping included. And I guess this would also depend on where you live as to cost. Here it goes.
Metal studs 25 ga. $188.25
Sheet Metal 20ga and one 18ga. sheared to size. $715.32
Controller from Ken, worth every stinking penny. $514.17
High temp wire $69.96
3 elements from local store. $77.33
Mineral Wool Insulation $70.00
2 Light fixtures and bulbs $ 8.95
Fan from Grainger $53.77
Oven door seal from Mcmaster $125.00
Somewhere around 2000 rivets $90.26
An air rivet gun and a friend with a 8 foot metal brake "PRICELESS"
Grand Total of $1913.01
Note. I have quite alot of drop pieces of sheet metal leftover.
