Default Re: Disolved Al in Ano tank and Ano thickness?

Destroyer,
thanks, will try and experiment a little.

Sswee,
Nothing idicates a thin anodized layer except my eyes. I guess looking at quite a few things that have been commercially anodized, it almost looks like a nice lacquer paint job on them. Where as most of what I have done, looks like a thin layer of stain on the aluminum with the grain of the aluminum visible. I have been using the 720 rule, and have done 6 and 8 amps, at .5,.75, and 1 mil for thickness, using Black and the Blue 4a caswell dyes.
