flex shaft from caswell, $400~

item#1 from eastwood $175~: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...roductID=16443

item #2 from eastwood $350~: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...iProductID=853

my question is, that item #1 and #2 both run 1/3 hp. item #2 looks like is is made for wheels, but item #1 can be fitted with a 1/4" shank, which can be used on an adapter for a wheel.

with that being said, motor on item #1 looks the smallest, even though it's the same hp, and also turns high rpms. would item #1 be able to turn a 6" wheel without straining it alot?
Number 2 is just a glorified Dremel - you'd burn up the motor and that little shaft would twist up like a pretzel if you tried to use a 4-6" wheel.

Number three looks OK, except they don't tell the length (and it looks short to me). By the way, you'll notice the wheel isn't spinning in that pictue. You can't bend the shaft that much and have it last very long!
